Worldwise

Children and Families

Worldwise is a general-audience educational app and is not listed in Apple’s Kids Category. It can be useful to learners of different ages, but it is not intended for a child under 13—or under the digital-consent age where they live—to create or independently manage an account.

Guardian responsibility

A parent or legal guardian must decide whether Worldwise is appropriate, authorize use where required, supervise the child, manage purchases and device permissions, and help exercise privacy rights. A child must not provide personal information or create an account without legally sufficient authorization.

Information and visibility

Accounts use an email address, display name, and username. Usernames and limited profile, achievement, activity, and ranking information may be visible to other users through enabled social features. Guardians should help children choose a display name and username that do not reveal a full legal name, school, address, phone number, or other identifying details.

Advertising and tracking

If advertising is enabled, Worldwise requests age-appropriate, non-personalized and child-directed treatment. Worldwise does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally use IDFA for cross-app tracking. Ad availability may be disabled entirely.

Family plans

A Worldwise Plus Family group shares subscription access, not learning data. The roster shows limited membership information such as display name, username, role, and access state. The Family owner can invite or remove members but cannot view another member’s email, password, detailed progress, purchase history, or balance through the roster.

Contact us

If you believe we collected information from a child without appropriate authorization, email support@worldwise.app. Provide enough information to locate the account without sending unnecessary personal information. We will investigate and delete or restrict information where required.
